Knight Online releases 4 new holiday quests for the holiday season.

• Quest 1: Help Parfait decorate her tree and you’ll have an 8% chance of looting a Christmas Crystal and will receive one of various items; a Snowman Transformation Scroll, Candy Cane, or various accessories.
• Quest 2:Santa Claus himself needs help gathering Gift Materials to receive a festive Santa Hat, after facing a string of boss monsters in El Morad or Luferson Castles.
• Quest 3: Help Okan collect Heroes’ Seals. Collect all four seals – Warrior, Mage, Rogue, and Priest – then present Okan with a full set.  He’ll give you a random Weapon or Armor in return. 
• Quest 4:Rudolph the Reindeer has been grounded!  Dig up 10 Flying Powder and 10 Lost Gift so that Rudolph can get back to work, you’ll need a Mattock to mine for items.

War Rock

War Rock unleashes Broken Sunset, the newest addition to Zombie mode in War Rock. In addition, Lucky Shot has launched. Lucky Shot is a game of chance offering players the opportunity to win certain guns and items in-game. Holiday promotions include:

The Sword 2 team has come out with some special holiday exclusive items that are sure to make the holiday bright in addition on a couple of in-game events and missions.

• In-game Event at Nimraldi Bridge – Take on 3 missions from NPC Santa Nunez to help him rescue his kidnapped reindeers. Players can receive prizes and Christmas Coins for their assistance.

It is gPotato.eu’s fifth Christmas in Europe and the gPotato team are celebrating in seasonal style with Christmas events and themed gift giveaways on all gPotato.eu games. Players will experience fun festive events with exciting quests and in-game item drops, gift giveaways and community contests running right the way through December and lasting until after Christmas.

In the cute manga universe of Canaan Online, adventurers will have a chance to find Christmas Gift Boxes on all monsters they challenge, which can be opened to give the player Candy Canes or Christmas Stockings. These rewards can be collected and exchanged with Santa Claus. Players can receive rare and powerful festive pets such as a Reindeer and a Christmas Elf, as well as costumes and an exclusive pet and mount combo, the Reindeer and Sleigh. Also, from the beginning of December, all players in Canaan Online can check their mail daily to receive an advent calendar gift of sweet Christmas themed candies.

It will be snowing in the action MMORPG Dragonica, and adventurers can stay warm with cute Christmas outfits such as Snowmen, Santa and Penguins to keep players cosy! Players can also gather special Christmas balloons, each with a letter on them, and spell out certain Christmas, New Year or Dragonica related words to receive special buffs exclusive to the Christmas holidays, including increased movement speed and gold drops. The festivities do not end there, with the events running into the New Year. Players can dress up in party gear and receive special buffs for the holiday period, and even set off fireworks to bring in the New Year.

Adventurers in Flyff will not be left out either, with exciting holiday events that give all players bonus experience from early December, as well as generous gifts and a chance to win great rewards just in time for Christmas. Players will also have a chance to meet their Game Masters dressed as Santa Claus in-game, so it’s a great time to log in and play.

And last but not least, adventurers in Rappelz will have to find Santa, who will be hiding in a secret location every day. He will stay at that location for a whole day before he moves to another location, so players should find him as soon as they can, to be rewarded for their efforts with Christmas goodies, including a coupon that players can collect to exchange for special gift packages, or they can eat delicious Christmas Cakes to receive stat bonuses for a period of time. There is also a 50% bonus to drops and Laks at the beginning of December, and a double experience event in the lead-up to Christmas. Following Christmas, players will receive a 100% bonus to drops, Laks, and experience altogether, just to bring in the New Year, along with a card collection event, where players can collect cards and spell out word combinations to receive special rewards.

WEBZEN Inc. announces the Archlord’s major update schedule for December 16, 2010 including a brand new American server. On December 16, 2010 DragonScion will be officially released with additional new contents. This official release of DragonScion went through the successful beta-trial season from early December.

Based on the game scenario, DragonScion race are described as the children of the great dragon Mightthesis, and has animosity feeling towards the Orcs because of their betrayal.
At first, players are able to create only the starter classes called “Scion”, but when they have reached level 20, players will get a chance to make a choice to advance into different types of classes; Slayer (Warrior), Orbiter (Shooter) or Summoner (Magician).

The updates includes additional 500 exciting new quests, 400 fierce new monsters and 350 new weapons and armors. This upcoming update will be the largest expansion in 2010 for Archlord.

Tony Kim, Head of Global Publishing at WEBZEN Inc. said “The release of the new race DragonScion will give a more dynamic PvP challenges as it changes the crucial conflict in between the existing three races Human, Orc and Moonelf” also added, “By this updates, we hope that more global gamers can have a pleasant game experience from Archlord and WEBZEN.COM global service.”

Meanwhile, Archlord is also planning to open a New American region server, “Stull”. The opening of the new “Stull” server will provide more instant game access as well as stabilized network environment especially for the North and South American gamers. Webzen formerly opened an American regional server, “Gracia” and it is successfully in-service.

In addition to this massive updates and server extension, Archlord is preparing amazing events starting from December 16, 2010. Archlord is inviting players to celebrate Christmas with Archlord Santa Girl, who is visiting Chantra with various Christmas presents.

Meanwhile, Archlord plans to hold a ‘Refund event’, which gives new Archlord players an opportunity to experience Chantra items. During the event period if a character in a new account achieves level 50 or above, and yet not satisfied with the game experience, the player may request a refund of his or her credit card use and return the account.
